About
My research is dedicated to atmosphere-Ocean-Cryosphere interaction in the realm of climate change. I work on the validation of satellite-based variables and model parameters and quantifying the interannual variability in sea ice, scatterometer winds, and sea surface temperature. Using reanalysis products and in-situ data gathered from XCTDs, and CTD, I decipher the role of local/remote forcing on the meandering in southern ocean hydrological fronts, geostrophic transport in the choke point between S. Africa and Antarctica, thermohaline structure, heat content changes, sea level changes due to thermostatic anomalies and ice sheet melting.
