About
Wenbo Luo is a full professor at Changsha University, China. He also serves as the board member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics(CSTAM), the vice president of the Chinese Society of Rheology, the deputy director of the CSTAM professional committee of Mechanics for Corrugated Tubes and Pipes, the expert member of the Polymer Pipeline and Vessel professional committee (PPVC) of the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection, the vice president of the Hunan Society of Mechanics, the vice president of the Hunan Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering. He was the deputy dean (2004-2013) and the dean (2013-2017) of the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics of Xiangtan University, worked at University of Quebec (Canada) as a visiting professor (2004-2005) and at Kobe University (Japan) as a JSPS fellow (2005-2007), and was elected by the "new century excellent talent support program" of the MOE, China in 2008. His research interests include viscoelasticity of solids, damage and fracture mechanics of polymers and polymer composites. He has published 1 monograph, 2 textbooks, more than 150 peer-review journal papers.
