Dr. Santosh Kumar is an academic and researcher specializing in molecular biology, RNA biology, and cancer genomics. His research focuses on understanding the regulatory roles of non-coding RNAs, RNA secondary structures including G-quadruplexes, RNA-binding proteins, and epitranscriptomic modifications in development and human diseases, particularly glioma. He combines molecular biology, genomics, and bioinformatics approaches to investigate disease mechanisms and identify potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets. In addition to research, he is actively involved in teaching, student mentoring, laboratory development, and academic leadership. His goal is to advance translational RNA research while nurturing future scientists through innovative and research-oriented education and training.
