About
I am a biostatistician with over six years of experience in epidemiology and public health research, focusing on the application of statistical methods to clinical and population-level data. My work integrates methodological rigor with real-world health applications, particularly in infectious disease surveillance and non-communicable disease research.
My research has addressed areas including antimicrobial resistance (AMR), healthcare-associated infections, COVID-19, diabetes registries, and cancer screening programs. I have applied a range of statistical approaches, including survival analysis, generalized linear models (logistic and Poisson regression), and decision tree methods (CART), to support evidence generation for clinical practice and public health policy.
I am proficient in R, STATA, and SPSS, with experience handling large-scale observational and registry-based datasets. My contributions span the full research process, including study design, data management, statistical analysis, interpretation, and scientific writing, resulting in over 20 peer-reviewed publications.
Currently, I serve as a Research Scientist (Statistical Consultant) on an ICMR-funded implementation research project aimed at improving screening, early diagnosis, and treatment initiation for oral, breast, and cervical cancers.
My research interests include advanced survival and longitudinal data analysis, real-world evidence generation, causal inference, and the emerging application of artificial intelligence and machine learning methods in epidemiology and public health.
