Presently I am a Professor of Political Science at the Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. I have completed my M.A., M.Phil and PhD in Political Science from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Vadodara. My PhD involved a study on "Security Issues of South Asian States: A Case Study of Sri Lanka".
My academic interests are mainly in the areas of South Asian Security Studies, Indian Foreign Policy and Political Theory and Philosophy. Among the more recent publications are (Co- Edited) Political Thought and Themes: A Reader (2019); (Co-Edited) Referendums in International Law: An Analysis (2019); and(Co-Edited) Indian Ocean and Maritime Security: Competition. Cooperation and Threat. I am also an Editor of the GNLU Journal of Law Development and Politics. My most recent publications is a chapter titled "Foreign Policy and National Security: Need for Strategy Leverage of Foreign Policy Outcome for National Security Objectives" published in Bimal N.Patel.
