Anand Thyagachandran is a PhD scholar at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Madras, focusing on applying machine learning methods using biomedical data. His work involves biomedical analysis through machine learning and deep learning techniques, with expertise in CT, EEG, and ultrasound data. He has published multiple research papers in the medical domain. Before joining PhD, he served as an assistant professor at VFSTR University. He holds a master's degree from the School of Computer and Information Sciences (SCIS) at the University of Hyderabad, where he worked on the cryptanalysis of GSM communication, and a bachelor's degree from the College of Engineering Perumon, affiliated with Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) University.
