Keval Gadani

About

Dr. Keval J. Gadani is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Physics at Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE), Gandhinagar, India. He has completed his M.Sc. (Physics), B.Ed. (Maths & Sci.) and M.Phil. (Physics) from Saurashtra University, Rajkot in 2013, 2014 and 2015, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in June 2018 from Department of Physics, Saurashtra University, Rajkot. During Ph.D., he has worked on swift heavy ions (SHI) irradiation studies on manganite based thin films and devices at Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi, India. He is working on functional oxide materials such as mixed valent manganites, multiferroics, diluted magnetic semiconductors and metal oxides. He has the expertise to work on polycrystalline bulk, nanostructures, thin films, devices, heterostructures, bilayers, multilayers and composites (powders and thin films) consists of various functional oxides. He has capability to work with various synthesis methods and fabrication techniques such as solid-state reaction route, sol–gel method, co–precipitation, chemical solution deposition, pulsed laser deposition and RF/DC sputtering. He has proficiency to deal with the research on some special techniques such as swift heavy ion irradiation, low energy ion implantation and temperature–magnetic field dependent neutron diffraction. He has been awarded for best research paper presentation awards for 02 events at international level and for 01 event at national level. He has published 66 international research articles in reputed journals and 13 international proceedings through various events. Dr. Gadani has more than 10 years research experience and more than 07-years teaching experience at UG & PG level. He can take academic and research together for creating excellent teachers. He would like to develop and set-up community science centre at IITE campus in future which will be directly benefitted to the students as well as society. He has strong research collaborations with Sfax University, Tunisia; UGC–DAE CSR, Indore; UGC–DAE CSR, Mumbai; IUAC, New Delhi; IPR, Gandhinagar; Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer; UGC–DAE CSR, Kalpakkam.
