Dr. Mukesh Shankar Bharti is a researcher and academic specializing in International Relations, with particular expertise in Central and Eastern European politics and area studies. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations with a specialization in Central and Eastern Europe (European Politics), from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
His research interests encompass a wide range of themes, including democracy and democratization, political institutions, European Union studies, geopolitics, geoeconomics, political economy, African political systems, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and South Asian politics and international relations. His scholarly work focuses on understanding the interaction between political institutions, regional integration processes, and global power dynamics in both developed and developing regions.
Dr. Bharti currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Dyal Singh College, affiliated with the University of Delhi, New Delhi, India.
