Suresh Mane

About

Suresh D. Mane has studied BE in Mechanical Engineering from Karnatak University and received M.Tech. in Energy Systems Engineering from BVB College of Engineering Hubli and secured third rank to the Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2007. He served Indian Railways (IR) for 22 years and last worked as Asst. Divisional Mechanical Engineer, Diesel Loco Shed, K.R.Puram, Bangalore. He was awarded Ph.D. in the field of Energy Management from Kuvempu University in Feb 2015. He worked as Professor and Head Placement and Training department of Shaikh College of Engineering & Technology, Belgaum, Karnataka, India for 3 years from 2012 to 2015. In Oct 2015 he joined GSIT, Karwar as Professor and Principal and served till Jan 2022.In Jan 2022, he joined Dr D Y Patil Pratisthans College of Engineering at Kolhapur as Principal.He took initiative to go in for NAAC accreditation of the college. His research interest includes Energy Efficiency, Accreditation, Solar Pv, Heat Transfer Energy conservation and Energy Management. He is a certified Energy Manager and Certified Energy Auditor (EA 8061) by BEE, Govt of India. He has published 54 papers in International Journals and presented paper in 20 International/National Conferences including at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, BESU Howrah and IGIDR Mumbai..He obtained International level 5 Certification in Leadership & Management by Chartered Management Institute London in 2018.He is fellow of Institution of Engineers, ISHMT,Member ISHRAE, Member ISTE , IARP and CEGR
