About
I am an Indian (Bengali) young women scientist and a first-generation Ph.D. graduate, passionate about protein behavior under stress and its application as a versatile tool across diverse scientific domains. I earned my Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Hyderabad, where I explored how proteins respond to extreme conditions—such as cold, heat, and molecular crowding—using a combination of biophysical techniques and advanced molecular dynamics simulations.
Currently, I work as a Research Scientist at the Computational Modelling & Protein Engineering Lab at the Indian Institute of Petroleum & Energy. With multiple peer-reviewed publications, conference awards, and mentoring experience, I continue to investigate how stressed proteins can inspire solutions in environmental sensing, material design, and biotechnology.
In short, by studying how proteins behave under pressure, I aim to turn molecular stress into scientific opportunity—driving innovation, discovery, and impact through protein science.
