Known as the "Telescope (Radio) Troubleshooter / Filter scientist" for his major scientific research in developing superconducting microwave filters for the two world's largest Radio Telescopes (GBT, US and JBT, UK). Also, popular as the "Antenna Scientist" for his research in the world's largest two antennas and innovations of the world's smallest UWB antenna and the smallest infinity (OAM) antenna. Known as “Electromagnetic Scientist” for his solo authoring of a classical advanced electromagnetics book – “Angular Structure in Electromagnetic Fields” – Mathematical and physical Maxwellian foundations based comprehensive treatment. A leading Indian daily picked out Professor Pal’s profile among top five scientists of India as the God’s Particle (BOSON).
