Academic & Administrative Experiences: I am the Dean-in-Charge of R&D and an Associate Professor at Vivekananda Global University in Jaipur. I worked as an Assistant Professor and R&D Coordinator at Chandigarh University, Mohali. I worked at JECRC University, Jaipur, in multiple roles, including Training & Placement Officer (6 years), Exam Coordinator (Conduct and Results) (3 years), and Admission Counsellor (7 years). I have 13 years and 8 Months of experience.
Research work: I have published 10 SCI-indexed and 80 Scopus-indexed Research papers, as well as 14 Patents. My h-index is 16, and my i10-index is 19. I have successfully supervised 1 PhD Scholar and 3 M.Tech dissertations.
Current Role: Currently working as Dean-In-Charge R&D at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur (NAAC A+) (2 Years & 8 Months). At the R&D cell, I lead the strategy for grants, publications, IP, Seed Money, and Transdisciplinary Projects (TDP) under NEP Implementation at the UG-level research across departments. Monitoring of PhD admission, entrance, interviews, coursework, DRC/RAC, Pre Thesis Submission, Viva Voce Conduction to Shodh Ganga Thesis uploading. Research Targets, as per NAAC & NIRF allotments and attainments, are monitored department-wise. In 2025–26, our office facilitated 25 sanctioned projects and 40 under review; accelerated Transdisciplinary Projects toward patentable outcomes; and scaled Scopus/WoS publishing through structured FDPs, bibliometric analysis (Biblioshiny), and research mentorship. I conduct the Researchers Conclave (Shodh Prayas) & TDP Conclave every year for research paper writing & evaluation at the university level. At the R&D cell, we are building a culture of over 3,500 Scopus/WoS/SCI-indexed research papers, an h-index over 40 & 800 patents, with systematic drafting, filing, and commercialisation pathways, and we are nurturing more than 136 campus startups in collaboration with ACIC/GCEC/CODE through the Transdisciplinary Projects. My focus: high-impact grants (SERB, ICMR, DST, DBT, MSME), industry consultancy, and measurable societal outcomes.
