About

M. Dody Izhar is a senior lecturer and researcher in the Department of Epidemiology, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), Universitas Jambi (UNJA) in Indonesia. Izhar is an epidemiologist with additional training in field epidemiology, implementation research (IR) focusing on infectious diseases of poverty (IDP), and good health research practices (GHRP). His research interests are related to social epidemiology, public health surveillance, control of infectious diseases, including tuberculosis, pneumonia, and dengue fever, particularly in understanding the social dynamics associated with disease risk, disease prevention and immunization, as well as health-related implementation research. Currently serving as the Head of Education, Training, and Human Resource Development at the Indonesian Public Health Association of Jambi Province, and a member of the Indonesian Epidemiology Association.
