About
I was born in a small town near kolkata on 4th day of May 1984. we are the four members in our family. Myself, my younger brother and my parents. I did my BSc in chemistry with honours from Vidyasagar University, Midnapore in 2005 and MSc in 2007 from the same university in 2007. Then I was awarded the CSIR-UGC NET-JRF in 2009 and joined the group of Dr. P. Jaisankar at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata to pursue doctoral studies. During my doctoral studies I had the opportunity to work with renowned scientist Prof. Hiroshi Sugiyama in Kyoto University, Japan as PhD internship student. I was awarded PhD degree on 5th august, 2015. Then I was awarded CSIR-RA by CSIR, India to pursue postdoctoral research on enzyme catalysis at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata; followed by SERB N-PDF for doing research on development of fluorescent probes for cancer diagnostic at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad. Then I was awarded Newton International Fellowship by the Royal Society, UK to pursue postdoctoral research on the development of organopolymeric biomaterials for light triggered wound healing at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. After completing my tenure successfully, I have been appointed as research scientist at TCG Life Science, Kolkata.
