About
I am currently working as a Professor at, the Department of Physics, UPES, Dehradun, India, and visiting faculty at the Department of Physics, King Faisal University, Hofuf, Saudi Arabia. I did my master's in Physics from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India, and my doctorate from the Department of Applied Physics, AMU, Aligarh. After completion of my Ph.D., I worked as a fellow of the Korean Research Foundation (KRF), from February 2008 to March 2009 and Research Professor under the Brain Pool Program of South Korean Federation of Science and Technology from April 2009 to January 2012, at Changwon National University, South Korea. In Feb. 2012, I joined the Beamline Division, Pohang Light Source Source II as a Research Scientist till April 2013. From Dec.2013 to July. 2015, I worked as a Research Professor at Changwon National University, Changwon, Gyeongnam, 641-773, Republic of Korea. I also worked as visiting Professor at Departamento de Física, CCET, Universidade Federal do Maranhão, São Luis -65085-580, MA, Brazil from Dec. 2015 to June 2016. Furthermore, I served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Physics, Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon from 29 August 2016 to 1st November 2019. My research interest is focused on experimental studies of functional oxide materials such as ferrites, CMR, lead-free piezoelectric, multiferroics, and DMS in various forms such as bulk, thin films, and 1-D nanostructures as well as nanostructures for energy storage (Li-ion, Li-S batteries, and supercapacitors) applications and solar cells.
