About
Namaste,
I am Dr. Mukesh Bhendarkar, a Scientist at ICAR-National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management in Baramati, India. My work is focused on fisheries resource management, covering various important areas in this field.
Throughout my professional journey, I have explored the Indian fisheries sector, contributing insights ranging from the biology of fish to aquaculture practices and policy reforms. Currently, I am at the forefront of innovative applications of environmental DNA (eDNA) to better understand fisheries ecology.
As I continue my journey, I remain eager to delve into emerging areas and collaborate on research that aligns with my expertise. If you share similar interests or have opportunities for collaboration in the expansive field of fisheries science, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can contribute to the sustainable management and conservation of fisheries and aquaculture resources.
