About
I am working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. My broad research area is Gravitation and Cosmology. Currently, I am actively exploring the physics of the dark sector of the Universe from theoretical and observational perspectives. My research interests also include exploring the classical and quantum aspects of gravity. I have extensively explored application of the Raychaudhuri equation in various gravitational systems, specifically focusing on the issues of singularity and late-time accelerated expansion of the universe. I have pursued my PhD at the Department of Physical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata, India. Before joining my current position, I worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences and as a National Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Theoretical Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia, India.
