Dr. Reshma Banu pursued Ph.D., Computer Science & Technology, Master of Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering. Currently Nominated as Coordinator for implementation of ICT initiative’s to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi from GSSSIETW, Mysuru. She is a Examiner/valuator/ Paper setter for Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. She has published several Research papers in International, National Journals/conferences.

Currently she is working as Professor in CSE & Principal Researcher Computing Sciences-CSE,ISE,MCA R&D cell Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering & Technology Mysuru. She worked as a Professor and Head of the Department of Information Science & Engineering at GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women, Mysuru. Currently Extending Research Guidance for 5 Research scholars in the areas of Communication Networks, Cloud Computing, IOT. Rendered service for around 10 years as Assistant professor, Senior lecturer, Lecturer in the Department of Information Science & Engineering at Ghousia College of Engineering Ramanagaram, Karnataka, India. She was a Research Scholar at S.K University Anantapur, Andar Pradesh, India and Was a Research Trainee in Virtual Reality Lab, CAIR, Ministry Of Defense, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She has a Research & Teaching experience of around 20+ Years. Active member of Anti Sexual Harassment committee and Internal Complaint committee at GSSSIETW-Mysuru.
