Saikat Chakraborty has been a Professor of Biological Systems Engineering at Plaksha University and an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Prof. Chakraborty did his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston in Texas, USA. His research interests include lignocellulosic and algal biofuels, computational bioengineering of pulmonary disorders, and chemical and biological pattern formation.
