About
Abdul Ahad earned his PhD in Computer Science from Sunway University Malaysia (2018-2022), an M.S. in Computer Science from the Virtual University of Pakistan (2015-2017), and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Swat University of Pakistan (2012-2014). Currently, Ahad enriches the scientific community as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi'an, China, engaging in groundbreaking research in the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and federated deep learning. His journey before this role includes impactful tenures as an Assistant Professor at the University of Management and Technology in Pakistan, a Scientific Researcher at Istanbul Technical University, and a Data Processing Officer for the Government of Pakistan Revenue Department, among other notable positions. His research interests are vast and visionary, focusing on 5G and 6G technologies, smart healthcare, the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber security, machine learning, and deep learning. His work aims to bridge technological innovation with practical healthcare solutions, contributing to smarter, safer, and more efficient cities and communities. His academic and research excellence has been recognized through numerous awards and achievements, including being listed in the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University in 2023 and 2025. He has received merit awards for his Ph.D. and M.S. studies, grants for his contributions to journals and conferences.
