About
Nabil Khossossi is a postdoctoral researcher at the Materials Theory Group, Department of Physics and Astronomy, Uppsala University, Sweden, under the supervision of Prof. Rajeev Ahuja. He received his master’s degree (2017) in mathematical physics from FS-UM5 Rabat and his Ph.D. (2021) in materials science and engineering from FS-UMI Meknes, Morocco. In early 2019, he joined Uppsala University to conduct his Ph.D. collaborative research, where he specializes in the applications of first-principles techniques for elucidating fundamental physics governing the electrochemical performances of energy storage materials. His current research is mainly focused on the atomistic interpretation of thermodynamics and kinetic behaviors occurring in battery electrodes and their effects on battery performance.
