About

Dr. Subhashis Pal is an Assistant Professor of the Division of Medical Research at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, where his research focuses on gut bone axis in different pathological conditions, Osteo-immunology, and Immune-oncology. Dr. Pal earned his Ph.D. in Drug Discovery and Pharmacology from Central Drug Research Institute-Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2019. After that, he moved to Emory University, USA to continue his work in the area of Osteoimmunology. In 2023 he was promoted to Associated Scientist at Emory University, USA. He joined SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in 2024 to continue his research in the area of gut bone axis indifferent pathological condition and Immune-oncology. He published more than 50 original research articles in leading journals like the Journal of ClinicalInvestigation, Metabolism, ACS Applied Materials and interfaces, eLife, Biomaterials, Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, and many more. Due to his extensive work, he received the "ASBMR President's Award" from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, "East Meets West Award" from the European Calcified Tissue Society, recognition from the Cancer& Bone Society (CABS), and many more.
