Dr MVK. Srinivasa Rao has worked in the organizations that present ample scope for Self-actualization, Creativity, and Leadership with a zeal for achievement and served in a key manner with dedication for better Education, Research & Management, shared his rich experience in order to provide better plans for the overall development of students and organizations. Currently, he has been serving as Director, IQAC, Dean, School of Commerce and Management Studies, Sandip University, Sijoul, Madhubani, Bihar.
As an academician and researcher, Dr Rao’s Educational qualifications are M.Com, M.B.A, B.Ed, PGDCA, M.Phil, Ph.D. He did his Research in HRM in MSME, Entrepreneurship and Retail Management. He has dedicated more than 26 years to academic research, teaching, and imparting education to a large number of students that includes 10 years as a Professor & Principal at GIT Management Studies (9D), ratified by JNTUK, Andhra Pradesh and experiencing various procedures of JNTUk, Successfully handled FFC inspections and student affairs with good student admissions right from the inception of the stand-alone MBA College in Visakhapatnam, AP, India. He has gained the experience in Academic & Overall Administrative issues of educational Institutions in Andhra Pradesh as Principal, Director & HOD about 20 years. Dr Rao is an authorized Research Supervisor of JNTUk, Sandip University, ICFAI University, KL University, and Adikavi Nannaya University, AP, India and currently few students are working on Ph.Ds under his guidance. He has organized several workshops, Conferences, Seminars, FDPs, Job Melas, Technical Fests and others Programmes (25) at national and International repute as a Programme Director and Chair Person at the colleges where he worked and also attended several programmes held at Reputed colleges, Universities as a Recourse Person, Guest Faculty.
He has published about 65 research papers in reputed National and International Journals. 30 of his papers are indexed in Scopus, WOS, UGC Care that has earned more than 150 citations and 500 downloads. Dr Rao is associated with several research organizations via, BN Entrepreneurship Research and Development Society as Secretary and also Editor of SIJ of ASBMER and Member of Editorial, Reviewers Boards of several (10) National/ International Journals and also received 06 awards from National and International Accreditation, Quality and Research Organizations across the globe. He involved in Major, Minor Research projects of AICTE and UGC as supervisor, working on several consultancy projects on behalf of Govt of AP, Several PSU in this region. He is administering several key positions that include Director of Incubation Cell for which an amount of Rs1 crore one time grants is sanctioned and instrumental in launching 10 business ventures of the entrepreneurs in this region. Dr Rao has been instrumental in teaching and mentoring MBA Students in various subjects’. He also involves himself in Research and examination work as Chief Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Cell. He has effectively implemented different techniques and tools for educating students for efficient teaching and counseling. He has been spearheading curriculum planning, professional development & implementation of educational programs.
