About
I am Dr. Amol Tagad, a computational biophysicist working on molecular dynamics simulations of biomolecular structure, dynamics, and self-assembly. I completed my PhD at IIT Bombay, Mumbai, under the supervision of Prof. G. Naresh Patwari, with a thesis titled “Insight into Molecular Aggregation Behavior through Molecular Dynamics Simulation.” My postdoctoral research at IIT Kanpur focused on ice recrystallization inhibition using metal–organic frameworks and DFT studies of solid-state battery electrolytes. My current research aims to understand the intermolecular interaction during LLPS by computational and machine learning methodologies.
