Dr. Murugan Pattusamy is working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad (UoH), Hyderabad. He has completed his PhD at Anna University, Chennai, and has worked with IIM Shillong, the Australian Council for Educational Research in New Delhi, and the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
He received the University of Hyderabad's chancellor's award for his contributions to both teaching and research.
He has organized 25 workshops and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) at the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad. A passionate researcher and academic trainer, he has served as a resource person in more than 350 workshops, FDPs, and training programs conducted by universities, management institutes, and business schools across India.
His expertise lies in AI for education, AI for Research, Online Education, Theory building, Problematization, Multivariate Data Analysis Techniques, Mediation Analysis, Moderation Analysis, Structural Equation Modeling, and Item Response Theory.
His papers have been published in SSCI and ABDC-listed journals. Managed funded research projects with a cumulative value of ₹96.5 lakhs. He has developed online lecture videos for SWAYAM and other online programs.
