Currently serving as Senior Librarian at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, I bring over 29 years of experience in academic and special libraries, spanning medical, pharmaceutical, management, and defence research institutions. My career reflects a consistent commitment to enhancing access to knowledge, leading library innovation, and supporting academic excellence through modern resource management.

Previously, I was posted at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, where I significantly contributed to library development at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, particularly during its phase of UG seat enhancement and digital resource expansion.

I hold a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science (Berhampur University), M.Lib.I.Sc., PGDCA, and additional certifications in computer applications and French. My academic qualifications are complemented by numerous training programs, workshops, and refresher courses in digital libraries, open-source ILMS, bibliometric tools, and research methodology from institutions such as IISc, INFLIBNET, and CSIR labs.
My passion lies in:
• Digitization and digital preservation
• Evidence-based resource delivery
• Strategic planning for library modernization
• Training and user engagement to optimize e-Resource Usage rise (eRUr)

I have authored over 70+ publications, including journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers, with significant contributions indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate, showcasing my academic leadership in LIS research. I serve as a Certified Publons Academy Supervisor, and was honoured as the Emerging Librarian of the Year 2019 by the Health Science Library Association.

As a resource person and panelist, I have delivered lectures and conducted training on topics such as research methodology, citation management, and open access publishing at institutions like IGNCA, Makhanlal Chaturvedi University, Kurukshetra University, and Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MGSIPA), Chandigarh.

My vision is to build intelligent, inclusive, and research-driven library ecosystems, particularly in medical and academic settings, that empower students, researchers, and clinicians alike.
