About

I did my graduation in physics from University of Calcutta, W.B, India in 2003 and received master’s degree in computer application from West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), India in 2006. I earned my master’s degree in Technology from University of Calcutta, Kolkata in 2008 and did Ph.D. (Tech.) from the same university in May, 2022. I had worked with Vivekananda College, W.B, India as a lecturer during Aug 2008 to Aug 2010 and currently working with the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Kolkata Centre, W.B, under Ministry of Electronics and Information technology, Govt. of India, as Senior Scientist since Aug 2010.

I have been awarded (i) Outstanding Thesis & Dissertation Awards, (ii) Research Excellence Awards from International Conf. on Advanced Optimization Techniques & Applications, India, 2023. I have received Visiting Student Fellowship from Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan in 2019. I am the recipient of the invitation as faculty for Sikkim Manipal University, India in 2015, invitation as Resource person for Distance Education (P.G.) under Vidyasagar University, India in 2010, recipient of different appreciation certificates for providing technical advices / invited lectures to several organizations. I have successfully executed different Government (State and Central) funded project as a Nodal Officer / Co-PI / Zonal Coordinator.

I have published several research papers in refereed journals and conferences. My research interests include embedded system, real time operating system, cloud computing, cyber security, database management, machine learning and big data analytics. I am a Sr. Member of IEEE, Member of ACM, IEEE CEDA, VLSI, IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee, IEEE Sensors Council, etc. and life member of Computer Society of India.
