About
I am a Ph.D. degree holder in Poultry Science from University of Georgia. My research field includes poultry nutrition and gut health. I have worked to explore alternative novel feed ingredients such as Macadamia nut cake, Cassava root chips, Carinata meal, as well as plant's bioactive compound feeding to chicken. I am also an expert in conducting in vitro or in vivo research studies in the disease-challenged models for Salmonella, Coccidiosis, Campylobacter, and Clostridium. I am interested in investigating pre-harvest food-borne pathogens mitigation strategies to ensure food safety. Currently, I am working in the feed enzyme industry to decrease the cost of feed as well as an additional benefit of using different exogenous enzymes.
