About
My research is focused on studying the role of biological clock in the regulation of physiological and behavioral processes such as mood behavior, metabolism, brain and olfactory system development. During doctoral stint, I investigated the role of clock gene polymorphism in the development of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and type 2 diabetes. In post doctoral research, I studied the association between circadian clock and the development of autism at University of Minnesota. Later, I studied the processing of seasonal information in the mouse brain at Vanderbilt University. At present, my investigations are concentrated on elucidating the mechanism of light regulation in the development of mouse embryo.
