About
I am Dr. Sreenivasulu Dasari, and I got the master's degree in biochemistry in 2000 and a doctoral degree in 2010 on “avian embryo brain glutathione S-transferases” from Sri Venkateswara University Tirupathi. For last eleven months (from 14-12-2020 to 9-10-2021), I worked as a Consultant Biochemist in the laboratory services of kamineni hospital, Hyderabad. In the Dept. of Biochemistry, Sri Venkateswara University, I have five years (from 2014 to 2019) postdoctoral research experience on “Neurotoxin induced glutathione S-transferase (GST) gene polymorphism in rat” and seven years of teaching experience to master degree in biochemistry and biochemistry (immunology).
I have enthusiasm for teaching and research, so I teach biochemistry at the post-graduate level, and very interesting to share my subject knowledge with students, share helpful knowledge necessary to students' career, and suggest a better way for the future. I have explained the simple way about the topics I taught and ask each student whether the topic was clear before leaving the classroom. I taught enzymology, metabolism, and molecular biology to master degree students.
I am expertise in research area of enzyme purification (GST), enzyme expression (GST), enzyme characterization (GST), and production of polyclonal antibodies for GST, western blot as well as immunodot blot analysis, and GST genotyping assay. In addition, my doctoral research and postdoctoral research show my interest in neurotoxins and brain glutathione S-transferases. My doctoral and postdoctoral research work has been published in reputed (peer-reviewed) journals, and I have published more than eighteen research articles, including review articles, in my research line.
Since 15-7-2017, I have been a life member of the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Kolkata, India (Life Science No: L33262), and from Sep 2021, a member of Biochemical Society (No: 20025401), London, UK. In addition, I have attended many training programs and conferences.
