Dr. M. Humera Khanam has been working as a Professor and BoS Chairperson, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. She has 26 years of teaching experience. Her qualifications are B. Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. Dr.M. Humera Khanam was awarded a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, A.P., India. Her areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Speech and Language Processing, Human-Computer Interaction, and Big Data. She has published several papers in reputable national and international journals with a high impact factor. She has also attended numerous national and international conferences, presenting papers. She conducted and attended several
workshops and training programs. She was a resource person for AICTE-sponsored seminars, workshops, and conferences. She delivered invited talks at several conferences and guided several B. Tech. and M. Tech. projects, and had several Ph.D. scholars working under her guidance. She is an IEEE member, a life member of the ISTE, and a member of the Editorial Board of the IJNLC, as well as a life member of SVUWTA. She published 3 books. She received the State Best Professor Award for University Education from the Honourable Chief Minister of the A.P. state government on 5th September 2022. She received a "National Award for Teaching Excellence." The award was presented to her in the Computer Science and Engineering category at the Indo-American Education Summit and Expo 2013. She received an "Outstanding Faculty Award." The award was presented in the Computer Science and Engineering category of the Venus International Faculty Awards (VIFA 2016) from the Venus International Foundation on July 9 in Chennai, India. She received the Women Researcher Award in 2022. She is a BOS member in Computer Science and Engineering, a Nodal officer for Microsoft's upcoming skills, and a BOS member at several engineering colleges. She served as Nodal Officer of the National Academic Depository, Flying Officer in the NCC, Deputy Warden, PG, NBA, and NAAC Coordinator.
