Dr. Ms. Uzma Bangi is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Maharashtra, India. She received her doctorate from Shivaji University, under the guidance of Prof. A. V. Rao in 2011. She worked as the Brain Korean – 21 Fellow in Yonsei University during 2011-2013 and is the recipient of Young Scientist Fellowship (2015-2018) honored by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Gov. of India. She worked as a DST Woman Scientist from 2020 to 2024 in School of Physical Sciences, PAH Solapur University. Her research interests are synthesis of low-cost Aerogels and Coatings for commercial purpose.
