About
Nand K. Meena received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. (Dual) degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, Kanpur, India, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, Jaipur, India, in 2018, all in electrical engineering. From 2018 to 2019, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Aston University, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Currently, he is a Marie Curie Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Power Engineering (EEPE), and Aston Institute of Photonics Technologies (AIPT), Aston University. Prior to joining Aston as a researcher, he has acquired 3 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at CompuCom Institute of Technology and Management Jaipur, India (from 2011 to 2013), and Government Women Engineering College Ajmer, India (Jan.-Aug. 2018).
Dr. Meena is a Senior Member of IEEE, USA and an associate member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE), India. He has disseminated his research findings in more than 50 publications in various articles, book chapters and conference proceedings. His current research includes planning and operation management of active distribution systems, microgrids, electric vehicles, energy storage and application of artificial intelligence techniques in modern power systems.
