About
Natraj Kranthi is presently a Professor in the Department of Urban & Regional Planning, Head of the Centre for Geo-informatics and Chairman-Training & Placement and Alumni Cell at School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal. Prof. Kranthi is a qualified architect-planner with a doctorate and has an experience of around more than 22 years in the field of architecture and urban & regional planning. His research interests include geospatial modelling for urban planning applications, urban land tenure and inclusive planning. Previously, Prof. Kranthi had served School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada, School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal, JNTU School of Planning and Architecture, Andhra Pradesh Urban Services for the Poor, and eLogic Solutions Private India Limited. He has successfully guided three doctoral scholars and more than 65 postgraduate and undergraduate students. He has published several research papers and also has contributed to many research and consultancy projects. He has won many awards. A few of them include the NCPEDP Best Scholar Award, NCPEDP Merit Scholarship awards, IIA Best Thesis Award, etc. He has also contributed to literature by publishing two books of poems.
