G. B. Hiremath received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from Karnatak University, Dharwad, India. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics, School of Advanced Sciences, KLE Technological University, Hubballi. Previously, he worked as a research associate at the same institution. His doctoral research involved the utilization of BL-16, Indus-2 third-generation synchrotron radiation (RRCAT, Indore) to investigate L and M shell fluorescence parameters. His research interests include X-ray fluorescence, as well as both experimental and theoretical work in radiation physics.
