About
Dr. Ajaya Kumar Rout has completed his Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Dept. of Bioscience and Biotechnology from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha and his research on “Metagenomic analysis of Indian riverine ecosystems for microbiome and its putative function”. He has received ICMR-Senior Research Fellow from the Division of Biomedical Informatics, Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi-110029, India, and currently working on his research at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. He worked in the areas of Metagenomics, Genomics, Metatranscriptomics, Structural bioinformatics, Computer‐aided drug design, etc. He has published more than 40 international research papers in peer-reviewed impact factor journals, cited more than 432 times as per Google Scholar and published 10 book chapters to his credit. He has received the Young Scientist Award, Best Research Scholar Award, Best Oral Presentation Award, Best Poster Presentation Award, Appreciation Award etc. Currently, he serves as an Editorial Board Member of BMC Genomics; Guest Editor, Genes (MDPI); Review Editor, Frontiers in Microbiology and Reviewer in many International journals, i.e., Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics; Frontiers in Genetics; International Journal of Peptide Research and Therapeutics; Journal of Molecular Graphics and Modelling; Journal of Molecular Structure; BIOCELL; Gene; Gene Reports; Fish & Shellfish Immunology; Sustainability; Life; Mitochondrial DNA Part B: Resources
