About
I am an atmospheric scientist with a PhD focused on cloud–precipitation processes and monsoon dynamics over the Western Ghats. My research integrates multi-instrument observations, satellite data, and numerical modeling to investigate aerosol–cloud–precipitation interactions, boundary layer thermodynamics, and extreme rainfall. I have worked extensively at high-altitude observatories in Mahabaleshwar and Munnar, contributing to the understanding of cloud microphysics, orographic rainfall mechanisms, and improving cloud parameterizations in weather and climate models. My interests also include reanalysis evaluation, cloud radiative effects, and advancing high-resolution modeling using WRF and WRF-Chem frameworks.
