Scientist/Teacher with progressive experience as a Crop Agronomist/Plant Nutritionist/Cropping Systems Specialist and Biometrician. Attained a Doctorate in Agronomy focusing on Cropping Systems (Legume-cereal Rotations) and Soil Fertility Management using residue management techniques, Masters’s in Agronomy, and a bachelor’s in agriculture. My professional background encompasses teaching, supervision, and research, primarily focusing on the field and controlled environment conditions. Skills include field-based and laboratory research studies in Agronomy/Horticulture, Soil Science, nutrition, Urban Agriculture (LED-integrated Vertical Hydroponic farming system), plant, and soil analysis techniques, and data analysis using Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS), SPSS, and Genstat. Extensive admin experience in the university setup, friendly, outgoing, and charismatic; easily adapts to new environments and changing priorities. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English and Hindi. Authored 89 publications in local and international scientific journals, 67 in conference proceedings and workshops, and supervised 48 postgraduate students
