About
Vikram Krishnamurthy is a Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University. His research interests include statistical signal processing and stochastic optimization/control in social networks and adaptive sensing with applications to radar signal processing. He is an IEEE Fellow, served as Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Signal Processing Society and Editor in Chief of IEEE Journal Selected Topics on Signal Processing. In 2013, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Sweden. He is author of two books, namely, Partially Observed Markov Decision Processes, and Dynamics of Engineered Artificial Membranes and Biosensors, published by Cambridge University Press in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
