About
Dr. Ashish Kumar obtained his B.Sc. degree in chemistry from SCG P.G. College, Mainpuri and M.Sc. degree in chemistry from St. John’s College, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Subsequently, he did his Ph.D. degree in Heterogeneous Catalysis from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT), Hyderabad in 2015. After receiving Ph.D. degree, he worked in IIT Delhi for his postdoctoral research in 2015. He joined as Lecturer (2015-2017) in School of Chemistry and Biochemistry in Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab. Presently, he is assistant professor in department of chemistry in H.N.B. Govt. P.G. College, Khatima, U.S. Nagar, Uttarakhand. He has published 20 research papers in reputed peer reviewed international journals and also presented his research work in various national and international conferences. He supervised 02 M.Sc. dissertations. He has life time membership of Indian Science Congress (ISC) and Green Chemistry - Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). He qualified CSIR-UGC-NET and GATE in chemical sciences. He has expertise in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, nanostructure materials, advanced mesoporous materials, carbon nano-tubes, photocatalysis and fixed bed catalysis process.
