About

ADRI JOVIN J.J. received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology in 2009 from Anna University, Chennai, Master of Technology in Information technology in 2011 from Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore and PhD from Anna University, Chennai in 2018. He started his career as an Assistant Professor in SriGuru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore in 2011 and is currently working in Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. Prior to this, he had been an Hourly-based Faculty in the Department of Information Technology and Computer Applications in erstwhile Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore. He holds 114 International Certifications which includes certifications from Microsoft, Brainbench and Cambridge ESOL. He has published a number of research articles in various reputed International journals and have presented in a number of National and International Conferences. He has authored a book on Computer Graphics. He was a reviewer for the books “Operating Systems – Internals and Design Principles” and “Data and Computer Communication” authored by William Stallings. He has acted as a reviewer for a number of International Conferences and is a reviewer in a number of International Journals like Journal of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence etc. He was appointed as a reviewer for the approval of the IEEE/IEC/ISO Standards: ISO/IEC 12207, ISO/IEC 15026, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15289, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 7, IEEE 82.11 Revision. He was the Editor-in-chief of the IT Magazine INFOTECHZ and is now holding the positions in the Editorial Boards of various Journals and Magazines. He is a member of many Professional Bodies such as ACM, IEEE, CSI, ACCS, ISTE, CSTA, Internet Society etc. He is an Associate Member of the Free Software Foundation and has taken a lot of steps to bring awareness about the usage of Open Source Software and Software Freedom. His area of interest includes Agent-Based Intelligent Systems, Tamil Computing, Cryptography and Network Security. He is presently holding the positions as EXECOM Member in IEEE Computer Society India Council and IEEE Education Society India Council, Director / Principal Researcher at Tholkappiar Lab for Tamil Computing and a Mentor in IEEE Mentor Centre. He is the founder of TechnicalTamil.com, an initiative to promote the use of Tamil Technical Words. He also holds a Diploma in Yoga and a graduate degree in Law.
