Dr. Ganesh More
VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar
About
I completed my Ph.D. in the Catalysis and Material Synthesis Laboratory under the mentorship of Professor Rajendra Srivastava in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. My doctoral research focused on the development of metal-oxide-based nanocomposites for the efficient conversion of biomass into value-added chemicals and fuels through thermal and photochemical pathways. This work resulted in several publications in prestigious journals, emphasizing advancements in biomass conversion.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, collaborating with Prof. Radek Zbořil and Dr. Aristeidis Bakandritsos. My research focuses on the design and development of single-atom-decorated heterogeneous catalysts for producing value-added chemicals and advancing innovations in photocatalysis.
