About
I’m Sandeep Yadav, a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. I have completed my Ph.D. in Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay, where I was also a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF). My doctoral research, focused on thermodynamic optimization and the techno-economic evaluation of cold energy utilization from LNG regasification.
My research interests lie in sustainable energy systems, decarbonization strategies, and techno-economic analysis. I am passionate about leveraging modeling and systems thinking to address complex energy challenges and support the global transition to clean and resilient energy solutions. Through my academic journey, I’ve developed strong expertise in simulation tools, interdisciplinary research, and problem-solving—skills I now bring to my work at Stanford.
