About
Currently, I am working as an assistant professor of Computational Biology (Bioinformatics) at the School of Bioengineering and Food Technology at Shoolini University. Prior to this, I was working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. My previous role also included as an Assistant Professor at Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research. I have worked on various designations with vast experiences in the past being it as a Research Associate (NRCPB), as a Scientist in Parexel International Ltd, as an SRF in DBT COE Project, or as a Software Engineer at Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd.
During this tenure, I worked on multiple projects involving the application and development of tools/pipelines related to next-generation sequencing, website development, and maintenance of servers and storage devices. My computational research interest includes next generation sequencing, machine learning, computational mining, medicinal plants, molecular biology, database designing and development, big data, hadoop and parallel programming.
