About

Ambe Harrison is an adjunct faculty member at Saveetha School of Engineering, India, and a research fellow at the Applied Science Research Center, Jordan. Harrison is an active researcher who works on photovoltaic performance modelling, control engineering & applications in nonlinear systems such as Maglevs of high-speed trains and interacting tank systems. He is globally recognized as the developer of PILoN, a physics performance model for solar systems. Harrison frequently publishes on solar photovoltaic system optimization, solar irradiance sensing, nonlinear control in renewable energies and applications of metaheuristic optimization. He currently scores an H-index of more than 18 for over 90 peer-reviewed scientific publications. As an Elsevier-certified reviewer, he serves as a permanent reviewer for over 50 Web of Science journals. He is an IEEE member and a member of the Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE) as well as the African Networks for Solar Energy (ANSOLE).
