About

Jeeban Kumar Nayak is currently a Postdoctoral Scientist in the Nanophotonics and Metrology Laboratory at EPFL, Switzerland. He received his Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata. His research focuses on Mueller matrix polarimetry, spin–orbit photonics, Fourier imaging and Nano optics. His work aims to exploit the polarization degree of freedom to investigate light–matter interactions and to develop innovative photonic technologies for applications in imaging, optical sensing, biomedicine, and nanoscale light manipulation.
