About
Dr. Mukesh Patidar is an Associate Professor and Academic Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Parul University, Vadodara, India. He is also an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports, Nature (ISSN 2045-2322), part of Springer Nature. With over 13 years of academic and research experience, he holds a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering, specializing in Quantum Dot Cellular Automata (QCA) and Nanoelectronics. He has also completed a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) and a Master of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Digital Communication).
His primary research interests include Quantum Computing, Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA), Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Wireless Communication, and Smart Healthcare Systems. He has made significant contributions to nanotechnology-based circuit design, AI-driven medical diagnostics, and low-power QCA architectures.
Dr. Patidar is a lifetime member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). He has served as session chair and technical committee member at various IEEE and Springer international conferences.
Dr. Patidar has authored over 40 research publications in Scopus-indexed including 7-SCI & SCIE index journals and international conferences, with notable contributions to Springer Nature’s Journal of Supercomputing and the IEEE Internet of Things Journal. He is also the author of the book "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Techniques in Healthcare" (ISBN: 978-93-6132-236-5).
He has been granted three Indian patents, five Indian design patents, and two UK design registrations, showcasing his excellence in applied research and innovation. I have actively contributed to the scientific community by reviewing over 41 research papers in reputed SCI, SCIE, and Scopus-indexed (Publisher: IEEE, Springer Nature, Elsevier, MDPI, IOP, etc) journals, and have reviewed 60+ papers for IEEE and Springer Nature-sponsored international conferences.

In the classroom, Dr. Patidar teaches courses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Digital Communication, and Quantum Computing. He has successfully supervised numerous M. Tech and B. Tech projects, with a strong emphasis on practical implementation, innovation, and real-world problem-solving in his teaching approach. He is also actively guiding Ph.D. research scholars in emerging areas such as quantum computing, nanoelectronics, wireless communication, data science, and AI-based systems in healthcare.
