About
Dr. Diwakar currently serves as a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India. His research focuses on image processing, computer vision, medical imaging, and information security. Throughout his career, he has authored over 200 publications in reputed journals and conferences, including IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier, and he has been recognized among the Top 2% Scientists in the World by Stanford University and Elsevier for consecutive years (2023 and 2024).
In addition to his research, he actively contributes to the academic community through editorial roles. He serves on the Editorial Board of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (Elsevier) and has been involved as Associate Editor and Guest Editor for journals by SPIE, Bentham Science, and others. He has also edited books with Springer, CRC Press, and Bentham Science. Mentoring research scholars, organizing international conferences, and peer-reviewing for prestigious journals have been integral parts of his professional journey.
