I hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research and have postdoctoral experience at the Medical College of Wisconsin, WI, and Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN. I conducted complex research and development projects in biotechnology, toxicology, and physiology-related fields during my training. I am proficient in various gene expression, proteomics, biochemistry techniques, animal handling, treatment, breeding, and transgenic animal development. I have performed noninvasive and invasive measurements, injections, and surgeries in murine and porcine models and isolated and maintained primary cells and cell lines. I have over 20 published articles with high-impact factors in peer-reviewed renowned journals and have contributed to multiple NIH research grant proposals. I have also demonstrated a history of collaborations with other research groups and mentored undergraduate and graduate students during my position at Mayo Clinic.
I am passionate about advancing scientific knowledge and innovation in the field of preclinical research and applying my skills and experience to support the development of safe and effective medical devices and therapeutics. I am a results-driven, proactive, and collaborative team player with a track record of achieving set objectives through strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
