About
Dr. Satvir Singh, is working as Assistant Dean R&D and Head of Applied Sciences, CT University, Ludhiana, Punjab. Dr. Singh in one of the collaborators of JSPS (Bilateral Collaborations) Research Project entitled “Development of precise and rapid measurement for uranium isotope ratios with new techniques for nuclear disaster counter measures”.
He has successfully completed research project entitled “High Prevalence of Uranium in groundwater in Bathinda, Mansa, Moga and Barnala districts of SW-Punjab: Distribution, Source Determination, Risk Assessment and Remediation Studies” under RUSA 2.0 (Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan) grant. He has received an International Travel Support (ITS) from DST-SERB (ITS/2022/000751).
He has published 12 SCI/Scopus research papers and 6 book chapters with his Scopus “h” index is 10. He currently guiding 2 PhD students. Dr. Singh has bagged various awards such as • Best Oral Presentation Award during First International Conference on “Radiation Awareness and Detection in Natural Environment” RADNET jointly organized by Department of Physics, Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Dehradun from March 2-4, 2023.
• Best Poster Award from Wiley Publications for Poster presentation during International Symposium on “Recent advances in Self assembled Materials and Supramolecular Chemistry” held at Department of Chemistry, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on 19th March 2022.
• Qualified Gate (Physics) 2018 with Gate Score -361.
